What's With The Depuy Recall?

A lot of people have been talking about the Depuy recall but not all people are actually aware on what the issue is all about. It all started with Depuy announced that it is going to recall two of their hip replacement systems namely the ASR Hip Resurfacing and ASR XL System. The company actually ceased selling these during the late 2009. There were some issues on how the two were made. The recall of these products has prompted a lot of questions to many consumers like how these passed the standards of FDA. When the company submitted the two systems to the FDA, they claimed that the medical device is only similar with their other products being sold in the market.
